so another lazy thursday.......

here is lily enjoying some coffee at the window....watching the world go by. Today we are going to hartford for lunch with a friend, and then on a search for houses. Lily and I looked at houses with the realtor on Tuesday, and we have more tomorrow morning. It seems like we're going to be deciding between either a not-so-nice big house, or a really nice small house. any suggestions?

This weekend Lily went to her third art show....Katie had an opening reception at a yoga studio in Lafayette Park, one of my favorite places in the world. Lafayette is one of the oldest parts of town, with all of these gorgeous French townhouses. Its like another world, it almost looks like a movie set. We had a great time, since we knew a good amount of the people there. Lily made a new friend, Cora, and had lots of fun with the audiovisual exhibits..... : )

Lily and I are getting back in the swing of things, after our little trip to TN last week. She got to stay with her Grammie and see her cousins, while I got to hole away with my district and talk about firing people. I think she got the better deal.... : )

She's so close to talking! She has her own language, of course, but she's getting better to saying actual words. My favorite is when you give her her milk and she says "thank you." Or, when you ask her what a monkey says, and she scratches her sides and says ooh ooh ooh.....we can thank chris langley for that one!
