quack quack!

Today we took advantage of the great weather today and went to the zoo. We had alot of fun looking at the hippos, after Lily stopped being scared of them. Then we went to our favorite spot, the penguins. Lily quacked all the way in, and kept responding whenever a penguin would call out.

We rode the 'conservation carousel', and had SO MUCH FUN! We had the carousel to ourselves, since apparently 10:30 in the morning is not a big rush time for the zoo. I try to enjoy it as much as possible, because it is impossible to find a quiet time there once the weather is warm. We almost went into the childrens zoo, but then I remembered some scary news story about e.coli.....so we skipped that for today.... : ) Plus, goats creep me out.
